Drone Assessments & Site Visits
Wheatberry Construction performs both in-person and technology driven property assessments. We utilize drone technology and AI software to quickly and cost effectively evaluate the aesthetic and structural components of your property. Then, applying 20+ years of paving and construction industry experience, we will visit the site to perform an exhaustive evaluation of your asphalt, concrete, and drainage assets. Following the evaluation we will author and provide final reports; to include pavement condition indexes, scope recommendations, safety issues, and multi-year project budgets.
Pavement Management Plans
Wheatberry Construction is committed to helping our customers invest wisely in the exterior infrastructure of their assets. One way we support this is in authoring Pavement Management Plans (PMPs). The PMP is a 3 to 5-year performance management plan for your asphalt, concrete, and drainage structure assets. The PMP is an exhaustive evaluation of the exterior of your property. We apply pavement condition ratings, compile photo logs, evaluate drainage, perform an ADA review, list priority recommendations for maintenance, repair, renovation, reconstruction, and new construction. We will then work with your team to address these priorities in a 3 to 5-year maintenance, repair, and re-capitalization plan. By engaging in the PMP process we will extend the life cycle of your assets, ensure risk mitigation and safety measures are in place, and save your organization money by efficiently managing your resource
Pavement Project Consulting
Founded in our “Intelligently Simple” design principles, our technical expertise, and our emphasis on relationship building, Wheatberry Construction is available to consult on your asphalt paving, concrete, and drainage projects. Whether it is new construction, reconstruction, or maintenance projects, we lend our expertise to oversee scope development, project specifications, vendor vetting, planning/scheduling, construction oversight, close-out, and warranty programs. Setting standards for active communication and working with all stakeholders, we ensure the client receives the desired end product on time and within budget.
Portfolio & Asset Management
Our most extensive service, the Portfolio Optimization (PO) program take a collection of your properties, evaluates your existing programs and processes, performs data collection, site surveys, technical evaluations, and then implements a strategic management program for your organization’s exterior assets (asphalt, concrete, curbs, drainage systems, lighting, striping, signage, etc.). Quickly summarized here, the PO manager works with your team to define business objectives, collect and manage pertinent data, define and prioritize project scopes within your portfolio, validate budget feasibility and align projects with organizational values, and then effectively manage the projects selected for execution.

Wheatberry Construction is fully insured and capable of general contracting projects throughout the country (in 2023 we performed work in 17 states, from the Pacific Northwest to the East Coast).
